LightBurn has dropped the 1.7 Release Candidate to the public. 1.7 includes one of the most often requested for features for newer users and that is an updated Trim tool with a scissor button on the toolbar.
While LightBurn has always been able to trim using Node Editing, the new Trim tool makes it a much more accessible and visible operation. Hovering over line segments highlights exactly what portions of the line will be removed and cleaning up files is now a breeze.
Some notable additions to 1.7 besides that include:
- Improved camera support. This also includes the WeCreat Vision camera and AprilTags for calibration.
- BSL Laser support
- xTool S1, D1 and D1 Pro native integration
- The line tool has been reworked allowing quick and easy flipping from smooth to corner nodes while drawing
- Completely new Bar Code generation with dozens of new formats
- Scaling factor for the Copy Along Path tool
- Reorganization of the Settings Window
- and much more…
